AUGUST 1 – AUGUST 8 (8 days)
Granite Creek area below Isberg Pass,

Ansel Adams Wilderness, south of Yosemite National Park

Join the Sierra Striders as we explore the lakes below Isberg Pass in the Ansel Adams Wilderness. The trip starts at Granite Creek trailhead, south of Yosemite and on the west side of the Sierras. Mules will carry our gear to our first camp at Cora Lakes. Next we will backpack to Joe Crane Lake, then Sadler Lake. See incredible views of the Sierra crest. This trip will have three layover days, including a hike to Isberg Pass looking into Yosemite National Park. The use of packhorses on the first day is optional but higher encouraged. It will add approximately $70 to the cost of the trip, depending on the number mules used. This extra expense is paid to the horse packer, not to Second Winders.
