Yet once again, the seemingly indefatigable Orange Group will attempt to subdue that vast and only slightly uncharted backpacker’s paradise known simply as - “The Dinkey”. And don’t let the diminutive moniker fool you: although we’ve moiled into this wild wonderland on past expeditions - each and every one has provided a new and refreshing adventure. This summer’s trek promises the very same. We’ll cover more than 20 trail miles through an exceptionally scenic territory of massive granite domes, jagged peaks, forested uplands and sparkling alpine tarns. And there will be 3 lakeside layover days… for resting, or day hiking, or perhaps for a rock scramble up to enjoy an incredible mountaintop vista. The choices are countless.
